SOS Malta is holding a conference for a project entitled 'Media Engagement in Development Issues and Promotion' (MEDIP).

It is going to be held on the 10th April at the Excelsior Hotel, Malta, starting at 8h30 and ending with a lunch at 14h00. 

A number of guest speakers are invited, two documentaries filmed on a recent field visit to Uganda as part of the project will be screened and panel discussions will follow each documentary.

The objective of the conference is to engage in debate related to the role the media plays in communicating about the Millennium Development Goals and development issuess.
