Over 1,000 youths use the activity centre for youth’s in Villa Psaigon, Dingli, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport Clyde Puli said whilst touring the facilities.

Along with the Youth Centre in Marsaxlokk, these activity centres give the opportunity for youths and youth organisations to develop new skills through education. Clyde Puli explained that this is the reason why these centres have been modernised.

He also spoke on ‘Project Upbeat’, a year long project between Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and SOS Malta which promotes social integration between different Maltese social sectors including Maltese Youths as well as refugees. For this project, two cultural Ambassadors and four Cultural Support Ambassadors have been chosen in order to share their experiences through 24 workshops with around 480 youth’s.
