SOS Malta launches Gaza appeal
In January 2009, SOS Malta joined an international appeal for humanitarian assistance for the victims of the current conflict in Gaza. The NGO said continued attacks were causing widespread suffering.
It recognized that assistance was needed to help provide urgently needed supplies and services to the injured, to those made homeless and to other most vulnerable.
SOS Malta plans to focus on providing humanitarian relief particularly to women and children. It will do this in association with its international partners.

The Children of Bethlehem need playing fields... not killing fields (2006)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with SOS Malta launched an appeal in December 2006 to raise funds to build playing fields in Bethlehem. Our vision is to develop spaces in Bethlehem in which children will have access to fun and healthy play opportunities.
In addition, in response to a request from the University of Bethlehem, funds were provided for the purchase of computers for the University of Bethlehem. http://www.bethlehem.edu/
